You CAN be free from the fear of swallowing !
You can release this fear. The fear of swallowing takes longer than many other phobias to resolve but it can be released. This is because it involves parts of your body that are responding in a very deep way. You need gentlesness in the healing approach as well as effectiveness. You may have tried hypnosis, hypnotherapy, counseling, psychotherapy, NLP, etc etc etc, and still find difficulty.. That is not unusual in my experience.
Tell me, do you ever …
- Feel that you will choke or vomit?
- Need to sip slowly?
- Go through a complicated procedure to avoid restaurants, bars, or social occasions around food?
- Have to slowly suck on chocolate just to get some nutrition?
- Have to position yourself near the toilet just in case?
- Missed out on dates, social functions, or work opportunities because of this phobia?
Resolving fear of swallowing is not a five-minute cure or a one-minute wonder. And neither is it hopeless! There is hope for a better future, and you have come to the right place.
Please don’t worry. There IS a solution!
Ideally, I would recommend one-to-one sessions. Some clients buy the book and have the first session with me, so that they can be sure that they are doing it right, and then they continue with the book. Practitioners use the book to guide them about how to structure the session using the EFT skills they have learned. The step-by-step guidance makes it easy. Email me in complete confidence for one-to-one sessions. Peacefulness is easy once you are free from the phobia. You can see me in my calm Cape Town CBD studio or by phone, Google Hangout or Skype – whatever works for you is good.
